EVEREP is run by EVEREP Ventures, a business registered in Malaysia (registration no. 202603130558 / 003852551-D). We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us its controller. Questions: hello@everep.app.
The short version
- We use your photos to recognise gym equipment and build your workout, and your technique clips to give feedback.
- Those photos and clips are analysed by Anthropic's AI. We ask your permission in the app before the first one is sent.
- We never sell your data, never show ads, and never track you across other apps or websites.
- Health data you sync stays in EVEREP. It is never used for advertising, never sent to AI, never sold.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time.
- EVEREP is for adults: you must be 18 or older.
1. What we collect

Your password is handled by our sign-in provider; we never see it.
2. How we use it
- To run EVEREP: build workouts, save your progress, show your training history, run the feed and leaderboards.
- To give technique feedback on clips you choose to check.
- To manage your trial, subscription and invites.
- To send service emails and, only if you opted in, news and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep EVEREP safe: prevent abuse and act on reports from other members.
- To improve EVEREP using our own activity log. We use no outside analytics or advertising tools.
We rely on our contract with you to provide the service, your consent for AI analysis, health sync, location and marketing, and our legitimate interest in keeping EVEREP safe. You can withdraw any consent at any time.
3. AI analysis (Anthropic)
EVEREP uses AI from Anthropic, PBC (United States) for three things: recognising equipment in your gym photos, building workouts, and reviewing your technique.
- Sent: your gym photos, frames taken from your technique clips, and your workout choices (length, level, goal, focus).
- Never sent: your name, email, birthday, location or health data.
- Before your first photo or clip is sent, the app asks your permission. If you say no, scanning and technique checks stay off; everything else works. You can change this in Settings.
- Anthropic processes this data to return a result to us under its commercial terms, and does not use it to train its models.

4. Health data (Apple Health and Health Connect)
Health sync is off until you switch it on in Settings.
- What we write: each workout you complete in EVEREP (type, start and end time, title). We do not write calories.
- What we read: cardio workouts only (running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing, hiking and elliptical): type, time, duration and distance. We never read strength workouts from other apps.
- Android note: Health Connect delivers calories and steps together with each workout. We discard them and never store them.
- Where it goes: imported cardio appears on your Progress page only. It does not count towards leaderboards or badges.
- Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sent to AI, never sold, and never shared with anyone except the provider that stores our database.
- Switch sync off at any time in Settings, or remove EVEREP's access in the Health app or Health Connect.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with the providers that run EVEREP for us, and only what each one needs:

Other EVEREP members see what you choose to post: your display name, profile photo, city, posts, comments and respects. Partner hotels, condos and companies see only totals, such as how many guests trained and signed up, never your name, email or workouts. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Our database is in Singapore, and some providers above are in the United States. When data leaves Malaysia, we use providers bound by contract to protect it to a standard at least equal to Malaysian law.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days; backup copies roll off within 90 days. Guest details from partner properties (email, name, room number) are deleted 24 months after your last visit. We may keep the minimum needed to meet a legal obligation.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and withdraw any consent. Email hello@everep.app and we will reply within 21 days. You can also complain to Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Commissioner or your local data-protection authority.
9. Deleting your account
In the app: Settings, then Delete account. Without the app: everep.app/delete-account. Deletion removes your profile, workouts, posts, comments, photos, technique results and imported health data.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and each account can reach only its own private records. Photos you post to the feed are visible to other members by design. Technique clips are private: only you can view them. If a breach puts your data at risk, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Age
EVEREP is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger and will delete it if we learn of it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
